Boxed Memories

Boxed Memories is a short psychological experience about memory and routine.

You play as someone living alone with Alzheimer. Every morning you wake up next to a list of simple tasks you need to complete to get through the day: eat a snack, wash the dishes, collect the trash, and more.

But something is wrong.

Every day the layout of the house changes. Rooms move, furniture disappears, and wooden boxes slowly replace the things around you. The only things that remain are the tasks written on your list.

As your memory fades, the house becomes harder to recognize… and harder to navigate.

Made for the Bad Ideas Game Jam 2026.
